General terms and conditions for Triperife Excursions in Tenerife

1. General

1.1 By booking an excursion with Triperife Excursions in Tenerife, hereinafter referred to as "Triperife," the customer agrees to the comprehensive terms and conditions below. These terms and conditions apply to all bookings regardless of how the booking is made, including but not limited to the booking form on our website, Whatsapp, Messenger, SMS, telephone or in person.

1.2 Triperife acts as an intermediary between the customer and the excursion operators. We rely on the goodwill and conditions of these operators to provide our services. Triperife takes the necessary steps to ensure that the information on our website is accurate, but cannot be held responsible for changes in service or cancellations by the operators.

2. Cancellation conditions

2.1 For regular excursions, there is a free cancellation period up to 24 hours before the start of the scheduled trip. Customers who cancel their booking within this period are entitled to a full refund.

2.2 If an excursion operator has to cancel a trip due to weather conditions or technical problems, Triperife will first try to offer an alternative date. If this is not possible, we will provide a full refund to the customer.

3. Powers of Triperife

3.1 Triperife Excursions is authorised to act in offering excursions in Tenerife for any excursion listed on our website, organising special events on the offered excursions and putting our customers in contact with our partners.

4. Direct contact with Operators or Partners

4.1 If customers contact the excursion operators or our partners directly, all conditions, discounts, cancellation conditions or offered extras such as extra food/drink, decoration, offered pickups or other benefits as listed on our website will be forfeited. This list is not exhaustive.

4.2 In the case of direct contact with operators or partners, Triperife cannot guarantee the customer's eligibility for refunds, cancellations or other benefits as offered by Triperife.

5. Best price guarantee

5.1 Triperife Excursions offers a best price guarantee. If the customer can find the same excursion under the same conditions and with the same benefits directly with the operator or another legal excursion agency, we will refund the price difference.

6. Adjustments to Offered Services

6.1 The drinks, food or itineraries offered are subject to change due to weather, availability and operators' capabilities. Triperife will endeavour to notify customers of such changes.

7. Non-binding Time Entry

7.1 The stated time of an excursion is not binding. Although Triperife strives to comply with offered promises, the excursion or event may be shortened or less delivered due to factors such as weather, mechanical failures or organisational problems. Such information is communicated on our website, by our representatives, and on advertisements created by us on the internet, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and other social media or print materials.

8. Refunds

8.1 For general excursions on which only a deposit was paid and which fall within our cancellation conditions, we will provide a refund within 7 working days.

8.2 In the case of private boats, events or special occasions such as company parties, weddings or other private events, a refund may be provided, provided the following conditions are met:

  • Cancellation should no later than 48 hours before the start of the event should be communicated to us in writing via e-mail or WhatsApp.

  • In case of timely cancellation 50% retained from the total amount, the remaining 50% will be refunded.

  • The refund will be at the latest within 15 days of the scheduled date of the event, excursion or trip processed.

9. Extras and Additional Services

9.1 Extras booked on top of any of our excursions or events, such as artists, acts, private chefs, decoration, extra crew, staff, are not refundable. These costs have already been planned and fixed with our suppliers and are therefore non-refundable.

9.2 In case of direct contact between the customer and the operator or partners, Triperife cannot proceed with any form of refund and the trip booked by the customer cannot be cancelled with a refund.

10. Cancellation policy for Private Excursions, Trips and Events

10.1 Cancellation of private excursions, trips and events is possible up to 4 days before the start of the trip. However, Triperife reserves the right to deduct 50% from the cost price. Both Triperife and our suppliers/operators have kept your planned date free, booked in any crew or staff and kept the calendar of both Triperife Excursions, the operators and our suppliers and partners free for this date.

11. Verification of booking confirmation and ticket

The customer is fully responsible for the checking the booking confirmation and ticket immediately upon receipt. This includes, but is not limited to, checking:

  • The excursion booked

  • The date and time

  • The number of persons

  • The duration of the excursion

  • The specified pick-up location (if applicable)

If errors or inaccuracies are found, the customer should contact us immediately via e-mail or WhatsApp, so that the necessary corrections can be made in time.

The ticket is valid as any valid proof of booking and is valid only for the excursion, number of persons, date and time as stated on the ticket.

We cannot offer refunds or compensation if the details on the ticket are found to be incorrect and were not reported in time.

12. Amendments to the Terms

12.1 Triperife reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time. Customers are advised to check the terms and conditions regularly for any changes.
