in the last weekWent with the Teide sunset tour, and it was the best experience I've ever had. Me and my girlfriend brought a big bag along with us and only had a 2 seater, which had no storage. They upgraded us to 4 seats so we could strap the bag in the back seat! Instructions were clear, and the guides were extremely well organised and straightforward. The views from the spot they took us to was absolutely breathtaking. No off-road on the sunset tour which was the only slight disappointment, but could not take a star off as the roads that we drove on were spectacular themselves, and the buggies were incredibly fun to drive. I've seen a lot of nonsensical reviews before doing it myself, and I cannot fathom why they were even created. The buggies brakes were a little soft, but it means nothing if you are just careful with the driving and brake appropriately. COLD COLD on the way back down, bring a bandana and a jumper at the very least. Sunglasses for the way up, as it's very bright and can be quite scary going up hills (especially if you are foreign to left hand drive like myself). Thank you to all the staff and Tenerife best excursions for organising it all. Oh, and the transfer from the hotel and back is included in the package, which is excellent in itself,

a month agoAn absolutely fantastic experience, picked up early from our hotel for a 2 pm start, after a brief explanation of what you can and cannot do , explains everything about how to drive the buggy and safety protocol, we were off to do some off roading for about an hour and a half, with time to change drivers. They take plenty of photos so at the end of the experience you can pay to have them which is 20 euros, we have about 90 pics so good value for the money After the off roading you then head up the mountain towards the volcano on the B roads through quaint villages and windy roads, up and up you go for easily an hour taking in some breathtaking views, you go above the clouds, up the top you get to have a look about at the foot of the volcano with a brief talk about when it last erupted and so forth. Then you start your decent in the convoy which was just a fantastic experience, would highly recommend, really nice friendly staff , to finish off you collect your driver's licence and they give you a lift back to your hotel. Amazing!

3 months agoI would say it's definitely worth a try but don't make it your last day kind of trip as it may be disappointing depending on what you're expecting. We expected a bit more " thrill " so more off road but most of the 4 hours only 1 hour was spent off road which made the rest of it boring and mentally draining. (Could've just rented a car for the day and drove round ) Staff were really friendly and knew what they were doing very professional. The cafe stop wasn't very long only 10 mins. Definitely wrap Up warm as it gets FREEZING.

a month agoAbsolutely fabulous experience would recommend this to anyone. It's a great day, especially with Leonardo he was a good laugh 1 hour off the road and 3 hours driving up and down the Teide volcano 4 hour trip. Water included in the buggies.

a month agoThe sunset buggy tour was absolutely stunning, we also did a buggy tour the next day with off roading and mount tiede! Again another amazing excursion! Would definitely book both again on our next holiday If you're going off roading wear older cloths that you don't mind getting dirty! If you're going up for the sunset buggy tour, take a hoodie it gets cold going down. Neither bothered us, we had fun with stunning views x
