Horse riding Tenerife

What a fantastic experience! These are rescue horses and cost of the experience goes towards their up keeping of the horses. Staff are amazing and very passionate and patient with new riders. Walter gave us lots of information about the horses and why the horses came into the rescue. We had the most amazing walk to the beach and had photos/video taken which Walter later sent to us (all in the price). Would definitely recommend this to anyone who can get on a horse, this has been the best experience we have had in a long time and all we have talked about for the last few days. The only draw back we had was the road we came onto to get to the stables was blocked off due to road works and we had to navigate another way in. You would also need a car or taxi to get to the stables. Definitely book directly with the stables and not through an agent as this is around €19 each more expensive. You would best with long pants and closed toe shoes are mandatory. The team provides you with a riding helmet and a hair net type cap to wear under the helmet.

Amazing horse riding experience, 100% recommend!!! We embarked on a private tour to immerse ourselves in the island's beauty, trekking through cacti and rocks along the coast at sunset-a truly breathtaking experience. The gentle and calm nature of the horses left us in awe. From the moment we arrived at the stables, their exceptional care was evident. We had the opportunity to connect with our horse Thai & Eclipse, brushing and getting to know them before the ride. Walter and Anais, our knowledgeable guides, demonstrated their deep commitment to the rescue horses. They skillfully adapted the ride to our varying skill levels. They captured photographs while arranging us to create a stunning backdrop of the sunset and silhouettes. One of the absolute highlights of my visit to Tenerife! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I highly recommend this experience! Walter, our guide, was incredibly helpful, calm, and made us feel completely safe and comfortable throughout the ride. The trail was absolutely beautiful, offering stunning views and a peaceful atmosphere. It's clear that the horses are well cared for and deeply loved by the owner, which made the experience even more special.

We had a very wonderful riding session with Walter on Sunday. We went in a group of 4 riders with two persons guarding. As I was not experienced at all, Walter was by my side and the horse most of the time and as I was more safe, I also could take some parts of our trail with my horse without support, but Walter always in sightview. My husband had some experience in riding years ago and had a very good introduction to get back in horse riding. We made a trip for 2 hours into the stunning surroundings of Tenerife down to the beach and always with view to the seaside and on teide. The horses are treated very well and also very safe by foot on sometimes a bit difficult terrain. Before our trip we could brush our horses to get into a good relationship with our horses. Everyone of the team is very kind and friendly and the wellbeing of the animals is the most important thing! We will remember this trip forever and will be very happy to come back! This was an extremely heart warming experience for me. It is clear that Walter has the horses best interests at heart and is a true hero!!! I rode Odalinda and had the most wonderful few hours, the scenery and level of care put into making this an authentic experience was outstanding. We had ample time before and after to pet and get to know the horses, the evening was very relaxed. The last time I rode a horse was 20 years ago, so I am a complete novice. If anybody is on the fence about this experience - just got for it it's worth every penny!!!!
