3 months agoUnfortunately, an hour of waiting with the ticket in hand is a bit much. The track is used alternatively for go-karts and motorbikes. Prepare to lose 2-3 hours (the way there, buying the tickets, which involves scanning a code for pre-registration, the waiting time, then the actual ride - 12 minutes).

2 months agoThe experience at Karting Club Tenerife was overall decent, but there are a few areas that could be improved. Navigation and Reception: It was unclear where to go upon arrival. There were no clear signs or directions to the reception, and it wasn't obvious who to approach for help. The process for joining the race and where to wait for the race to begin was also poorly explained. Better signage and clearer instructions would make the experience smoother. Safety and Instructions: The safety measures were acceptable, with stewards monitoring the track to ensure fair and safe racing. It seems like they stop the race if someone breaks the rules, which is good. However, the initial briefing was minimal - just an explanation of the gas and brake pedals. There were no detailed instructions on how to drive or manage the track, which felt insufficient, especially for beginners. Track and Equipment: The track itself is large and well-maintained, with good asphalt, soft barriers, and proper bumpers, ensuring safety. However, the karts' performance was underwhelming. The "400cc karts" felt much weaker, more like 125cc in terms of power. Perhaps this is intentional to keep tourists from causing accidents, but it takes away from the excitement for more experienced drivers. Facilities: There's a spacious, free parking lot, which is a big plus. The second-floor restaurant is a nice touch - it's a good spot for family members to wait while others race. The area is child-friendly, with a designated kids' zone. Helmets are provided, and they're clean, with disposable hairnets for hygiene, which is appreciated. Location: The karting club is conveniently located near the highway, and getting there was easy with no traffic. Price: At €33 per person for 15 minutes on the most powerful kart, the experience is acceptable for tourists, though you might find better value elsewhere if you're a local or a karting enthusiast. Overall: While the facility has good safety measures and decent amenities, the lack of clear navigation, minimal instructions, and underwhelming kart performance hold it back from being a top-tier experience. A few organisational improvements could make this a much more enjoyable activity.
